Inspired by Free People's NY vs LA looks. Had to go with NY since I'm an East Coast girl plus it's cold so I don't think I could've pulled off a tube top o_O Outfit: Denim Jacket -Esprit Dress-Ross Pants-UO Boots-Chinese Laundry Hair: Bantu knot-out Lips: MAC Scandelicious MAC counter at Macy's was doing complimentary lips and eyes and I decided to try something outside of my comfort zone

On Saturday, My daughter and I did some Mother-Daughter bonding. We attended the Free People Handmade Love event, where guests made DIY Valentine's cards and enjoyed tasty treats!  We were provided with blank cards and decorating materials including rhinestones, fabric, fabric paint, and letter stamps.  I can't think of a way that I would rather have spent my Saturday than bonding with my #1 girl.  I feel so fortunate that she still wants to do things like this with me! You know I had to get a little shopping in too ;).  After this outing I pretty much chilled for the remainder of the weekend, which is odd for me...  On Sunday I made it as far as Walgreen's to pick up a few bottles of Sinful Colors nail polish on sale for 99 cents.  I'll post about them later this week.  Thanks to Mimi of Lipgloss & Binky for tweeting about this! I also plan to polish my nails this week! I love nail polish, I have a gazillion of them, and I rarely do my nails.  Guess I won't sit still long enough :/.  I digress...  I had a very relaxing weekend.  I can't remember the last time I didn't have anything planned for an entire day! I hope you guys had a great one <3.
