Happy Wednesday!  My apologies...I've been totally slacking on posting.  My daughter starts high school next year :'( and I've been consumed with applications, etc. I was off work Monday so I ran errands and met a friend for lunch.  This is what I wore.  I based my outfit on this lovely scarf that my supervisor brought back from China, since I started braiding my hair Sunday and didn't finish.  After about 8 hours, I ran out of hair and out of steam o_O.  I was also dying to wear my Mojo Moxy Auckland Booties that I waited to purchase until they were marked down to 1/2 price.  I love the colored denim trend that is happening right now.  Wearing them with neutral colors tones them down for a more conservative look. 

Today marks the beginning of Lent. I generally give up something for Lent because sacrifice builds discipline.  This year I am giving up shopping and fast food.  In a final attempt to shop last night, I perused DSW.com and put every cute pair of springtime wedges I could find in my shopping cart, and then fell asleep before I could check out...FAIL!  Needless to say, it's gonna be a looong 40 days.  My girl Rhonda at Looms, Lids, and Layers also gave up shopping so we're going to keep each other motivated.  Are any of you guys giving up shopping?  If so, please leave a comment.  I definitely can use all the support I can get!
