Hi guys!  The birthday countdown is on!!!  I always get rather introspective this time of year...thinking about things that have transpired and wondering if I am where I should be at my age.  This lake in my old neighborhood remains where I do my best thinking.  It's also a great place to goof off hence the last picture ;).  I don't have all of the answers.  I am pursuing my goal of earning a PhD and doing my best to raise two happy and successful young people.  A tough job but rewarding beyond measure.  Hope I'm not being too philosophical...it's just where I am right now *shrugs*.  Am I the only one who gets this way around my birthday?
