So it's official.  I'm a bum, lol.  I decided to put a little effort into my appearance going to school last week and the hilarity ensued!  I was accused of having "something going on", having a date, having a new friend, and lastly admonished to stay out of trouble!!!  While this couldn't be any farther from the truth, these comments definitely made grad life a little more interesting...  One of my goals in starting this blog was to be more pulled together.  Interestingly enough, I've probably gotten a little worse as time went on.  Not because things have gotten more hectic (thank goodness), but because I've learned to prioritize.  Before I wanted things to be "perfect" in every area of my life, but I've grown to realize that's not realistic.  Now I put the energy where it NEEDS to be.  Admittedly, this has made me slack off in some areas such as being pulled together outside of blogging.  So will I continue putting in effort and having my colleagues and professors wondering?  When my schedule permits, yes.  During those other times, I'll be relaxed in my favorite converse focusing my energy where it needs to be.
