Loft Style

Hi guys! After some contemplating, I decided to downsize from a house to a loft apartment to suit my new empty nest lifestyle. I made the move this weekend and I am so excited! I love the open space and the industrial look and feel of loft living. To commemorate the occasion, of course I had to have a photo shoot! It was so cool to be able to take pictures right inside the building…heck, I may never go out again! Although it’s going to take a while to get settled in and to adjust to the newness of everything, I’m super excited to explore. The neighborhood is very walkable and there are a bunch of cute shops and restaurants nearby. There’s a Mexican restaurant literally right outside my front door so you know where I’ll be eating every day!

I haven’t unpacked yet and I’m already thinking about decorating. My daughter is trying to convince me to get rid of some of my more bulky furniture and trade it in for minimal pieces that fit better with loft living. I’m struggling with that concept, but I know she’s right. Sometimes I wonder how a raised such a genius?! I can’t wait to share the transformation with y’all!
