My 2011 Vision Board (Sorry about the photo quality :/)
1. Strengthen my relationship with God
Definitely improved in this area and growing more daily

2. Improve relationships (family, friends, romantic)
This was up & down, but I'm still striving

3. Spend more quality time with kids
As a single mom, it's tough balancing everything but I did improve in this area and am trying to get better all of the time

4. Graduate
Yes!  I completed my Master of Science in Biomedical Research!!!
Now on to the next one (in my Jay Z voice)!

5. Stick to budget/No shopping
Epic fail here, lol
I've set new parameters for this one. I'm on a shopping restriction 'til my birthday (April) and I'll set a new goal then.

6. Have fun & relax (i.e. music, pamper myself, dance...)
I've dramatically improved here!
Saw Angie Stone, Lauryn Hill, and Sade in concert woot woot!

7. Write (dissertation, blog, journal)
Yes! Completed my thesis and started my blog =D

8. Attend Seminars (enhance career)
Ummm...completed several scientific training courses, but still feel like I could've done more...

9. 6" of hair growth
Definitely didn't accomplish this one :(.  I've retained 3-4", but the ends are majorly damaged so am planning to trim ~1"  before the New Year.  The good news is I've learned A LOT about caring for my hair so I'm sending a huge thanks to all the natural hair vloggers I follow that have taught me so much!  Can't wait to see my progress next year!!!

10. Lose weight
This may be the biggest fail of ALL!  I did the OPPOSITE!
The first step is admitting you have a problem so I'm half way there, right!?!

I'm currently brainstorming for my 2012 vision board.  I'm keeping in mind setting realistic goals.  I also saw a suggestion on my high school classmate's facebook page to make your vision board your desktop background so  it's the first thing you see when you log in.  I'm definitely gonna do that!  What are your visions for 2012 and how will you keep them on your radar?
Happy New Year All & Thanks so MUCH for your continued support!
XoXo,
TiaLou
