On February 25th, I attended Coco Curls and Conversation.  I love Coco Curls light weight texture and it smells good enough to eat so I was excited to attend.  Deshonica of D Essence hair studio provided hair and lifestyle tips as well as styled natural models with Coco Curls, showing the versatility of the product.  Tassili of Tassili's Raw Reality dropped some serious knowledge on us!  Have you ever heard someone speak and then feel like you need to re-figure out your life!?!  That was my experience after hearing Tassili!  I left feeling like I need to make some changes but I also felt empowered.  I do a monthly lunch with the girls and Tassili's will definitely be our spot for March.  Speaking of which, we need to set a date!  On another note, today marks 2 weeks since the beginning of Lent and I haven't shopped...Woohoo!  Even though it has been difficult, I've curbed the desire by doing things that I've needed to do FOREVER.  Today I organized the bathroom cabinets.  I swear I had stuff down there older than my kids and we've moved several times!  Can you say hoarder?  I can!  Hope everyone had a happy hump day.  Also, please check out my "Your Body is Fabulous" feature by the lovely Rocquelle at Consider Me Lovely!!!
